Hey all,
Linux Plumbers Conference is coming up again, September 23-25:
http://linuxplumbersconf.org/2009/
The Debian kernel team is planning to attend en masse this year. Perhaps we
should get together as well and show them some Portland hospitality (-->
beer)?
I don't know anyone's arrival/departure schedules yet for the conference,
but if anyone wants to suggest a time (and a place) for a get-together, or
perhaps say when they're /not/ available for getting together that week, we
can work from there.

Hi!
I've been nominated by vorlon to organize a Portland Debian release party.
However, this is not one of my strong abilities. So I think we should,
in classic Debian style, come to a consensus on location and time.
Since I drew the short stick, I'll start by suggesting a place in my
quadrant:

This Sunday? Next Saturday? Either way, I vote for noon.

Hi folks,
So far I've only had people send their regrets, nobody confirming that
they'll be coming tonight. Should I just plan to stay at home and work on
lenny? :)

Hi all,
Since Debian is having its 15th birthday this week, I thought this would
make another excuse for folks to get together - maybe with a bit more
advanced notice than I gave during OSCON, more local people will turn out
:-)
I propose a get-together at Old Town Pizza in NW, on Saturday, Aug 23 at
6pm. Website:
http://www.oldtownpizza.com/
Only a week late for Debian's birthday, to make allowances for people
travelling back from DebConf...
Please let me know if you think you're coming (and how many), so I know
whether we need to try to make a reservation.
