En aquestes llistes hem discutit a sovint com podríem construir un
recull de termes que ens ajudara amb les traduccions. De moment fem
servir el Cercaterm del TermCAT, el recull de SoftCatalà, el recull
Debian de l'Antoni Bella... Però de tant en quant apareix la qüestió
de per què no usar-ne un d'unificat. En particular, s'havia suggerit
d'usar el sistema Orca (que personalment desconec).
En vista de l'èxit de projectes com la Wikipedia, suggerisc que
podríem posar en marxa un wiki dedicat a recollir termes amb llurs
traduccions, on ens puguérem esplaiar relativament en les motivacions
d'una traducció o altra (sense arribar al nivell d'un webfòrum, que,
d'altra banda, tampoc vindria gens malament ;). Caldria escollir un
sistema que permetera recerques i, per descomptat, el contingut hauria
d'esdevindre lliure (posem per cas, però no necessàriament, a l'estil
de les DFSG de Debian).
Bé, què vos sembla la idea? Ja sé que no està massa definida, però
vos pregue que suggeriu tot el que se vos ocòrrega. La veritat és que
tampoc tinc massa experiència amb wikis, però sembla una eina ràpida i
simple per una tasca d'aquesta classe. Bé, parleu, per favor!
