Anyone know of active developers in the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area?
It appears the debian-seattle-soc has dispersed(or at least the ML

May got out of control for everyone, so I think we should just make a
general call for the next beering in June. Next month starts my ventures
into playing in the pit orchestra of a musical in Sherwood, so if Thursdays
are still good with everyone else, I can bow out for the next few months, or
if we can change to MOnday or Tuesday, could that work for everyone?

don't you?
There are several Debian folks who are active in the Seattle area...
including Allison, member emeritus of the Portland Debian community and
DebConf 14 organizer. :) Matt Taggart is also up there, and I know there
are Debian Developers working at both Amazon and Microsoft up there. But
unfortunately, as William notes, the mailing list seems to have imploded, no
doubt in part because the former host isn't based in Seattle anymore. I
think there's certainly demand for such a list if someone wants to get one
going; I've planted the suggestion with Matt Taggart, so maybe this will be
resolved soon.

I've been talking with Matt and Mako about starting up the
debian-seattle-soc mailing list again, with a semi-regular beering.
Haven't quite managed it yet. :) Actually, that's a good reminder, I'll
re-ping Mako. Last I heard, he'd put in a request for debian-seattle-soc
to be hosted on Alioth, so it wouldn't disappear again the next time
someone's personal server moved/died.
And, I also pop down to Portland occasionally for a BSP or beering. :)
