Adding Matt Taggart to the Cc:, since he's mentioned he will also be down in
Portland this coming week.

community...
Well, Rodrigo replied to it by private mail and I replied via meatspace. :-)
So let's fix that, then. I had agreed with Rodrigo
to meet this
wednesday around 6:30 PM near the river, have a walk there, look a bit
at the bridges etc, and then go to Bridgeport Brewery to check out the
local beer. Anyone else interested in joining in would, of course, be
welcome to do so.
I guess you mean the Bridgeport Brewpub, as opposed to the Ale House?
(Neither is particularly close to the river, but the Brewpub is much easier
to get to by public transportation, the way I reckon such things :).
Do you have a time in mind for going to Bridgeport, so folks who don't want
to meet up on the river but would like to meet for beer can coordinate?
I will be around Wednesday and am happy to join in, at least for the beer
and maybe for the river walk. Patty is also planning to come to the
beering, at least.
In addition, at debconf, Manoj had suggested he might
be interested in
coming over from Seattle during the weekend, and meet up. While that
doesn't sound like a bad idea, I should note that of course I'm here
mainly to visit my cousin, and I can't be off with other people the
_whole_ weekend -- I'll want to do something with them during that time,
too, since they do have to go to work during the week. But beyond that,
I'm happy to meet up either on saturday or on sunday. Just let me know
'soon' :-)
I haven't heard anything further from Manoj about this yet; AIUI he's
traveling post-DebConf as well, so it's possible we won't even know he's
coming until late this week.
