Thanks much for volunteering! I hope we do indeed get to meet you one
of these days at an event - maybe the next beering coming up this
Thursday <nudge>? :)
Thanks for the reply, I thought for a moment my mail was too campy and
got ignored, haha! I'd love to come to the beering, but I'm out of town
for the rest of the week, next month perhaps?
I've added your name now to the list of volunteers
on
<https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf14/Portland>. Feel free to
append whatever information about yourself you think is appropriate.
Thanks for adding me to the wiki bid article. It looks much more
complete than a month ago, good job! I'm surprised The Ondine offers
accommodations, I thought it was strictly student housing, or at least
it was in 2000 when I was couch surfing there for a few months…
DebConf is an amazing whirlwind event, since like
everything Debian it
is entirely volunteer-driven. You needn't have any fear that you
won't be able to help - help of all kinds will be needed over the year
to come.
Sounds good, I'll be here!
