Lars Wirzenius (liw) is in town, but leaving on Monday. Monday evening,
we'll be at Kennedy School[0] at 6pm to eat, drink, socialize and generally
have a good time. Anyone who wants to come and can make it, please do. It
would be nice, however, to have a headcount so I don't ask the waitress for
a table for 8 and wind up with 20 people. ;) (Not that this has EVER
happened to me before, EVER)

i put in a request at freegeek for a few spare laptops to bring to debconf to
loan to people who could use one. i'm not sure if the request will be approved,
but figured i'd give it a shot.
is anyone else in the portland area going to debconf who wouldn't mind lugging
an extra laptop with them? if so, let me know soon; i'm leaving town this
coming sunday (the 18th).

I'm going to be in Portland next week, arriving late on the 20th and
leaving in evening of the 26th. We'll be on our way from New Zealand via
LA to New York, for the Debian conference.
I'd love to meet people while I'm in Portland. Perhaps a dinner with
Debian people, and other interested people, one evening? I have no idea
about restaurants in Portland, so I'd like someone local to pick a
place. I'm fine with lunch or dinner, or both, whatever is good for
everyone else.
